The business already works; what doesn’t scale is how information moves. Every spreadsheet is a decision nobody wrote down: who can touch what, what happens when two people edit at once, where the history goes. A custom system doesn’t invent the process: it writes it down, makes it visible, and takes the repetitive work off people. And since it doesn’t exist yet, there is nothing to preserve: it can be defined properly from day one.
