Almost always the site is well built and badly ordered. The page says what the company wants to tell in the order it came to mind, not what the buyer needs to know in the order they need it. That is fixed with structure and copy, not with a redesign. And since it doesn’t exist yet, there is nothing to preserve: it can be defined properly from day one.
